Dan Wirén is an artist working with various media including Chinese ink wash painting, photography and sculpture. He is also an art project manager in the development of art in public spaces within the city of Stockholm, and has done several previous residencies in China and Asia. During his residency at IFP he will explore ink painting as a daily meditative exercise and in parallel exploring the urban cityscape - Beijing's outskirts in constant transformation – through 'walks and talks' with the camera at hand.
