From 14 to 24 October 2009, four Antwerp partners join forces to present Amperdans4, an international performance and dance festival. Amperdans4 demonstrates the commitment of wpZimmer, Monty, Troubleyn/Laboratorium and the Royal Ballet of Flanders, all based in Antwerp, to acquaint audiences with the diversity and dynamism of today’s dance scene.
Amperdans4 gives free rein to performance, dance and hybrid forms of artistic expression, and goes in search of common interfaces. A wide range of performances are staged, including work both by young talent and established names. The program includes international artists that have not yet been seen on stage in Belgium, alongside some of the best performances recently produced in the country.
All information on featured artists and performances, and the annex amperdans program with contributions of visual artists meeting each other in the physicality of body and object, including the full festival schedule, can be found on the Amperdans4 website, reached through the link below.
Amperdans4 is an initiative of wpZimmer, Monty, Troubleyn/laboratorium & Royal Ballet of Flanders in collaboration with cultuurcentrum Berchem & Toneelhuis.
WpZimmer is structural partner of Theatre in Motion.
